If you love winter,love snow ,Nnavut is a good place to see snow.

There is  not only a beautiful snow scene. There are also many interesting things to do.
People like to come to here to hike ,fish,camp,see wildlife,and hunt.

They are  Arctic Fox , Muskox ,polar bear,walrus ,buffalo, and arctic Sled Dogs.
They are snowmobile racing, snowhouse building,and dogsledding.

In the  spring ,they are Toonik Tyme in lqaluit,that starts with a parade and ends with a big meal.

Snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles often are used for local transportation.Dogsledding is a good transportation too .Dogsledding is now mostly a recreational activity. 

Nunavut is basically roadless.So the only way to get here is by arcraft.

There  is a long winter,so airplanes fly many fruits and vegetablea into Nunavut.

The main industries is fishing. Nunavut  has whitefish and arctic char. Nunavut has factories that package raw fish and meat.
Nunavut mines gold,diamonds, copper, lead, silver,zinc, iron, oil , gas, copper, iron, nickel, silver, lead, and zinc.

very few industries have developed in Nnuavut due to the territory's remote location and the hight cost of transportation.

Culture of Nunavut is special.
There are about 27,500 people living in Nunavut,18,000 for them are Inuit.
Then word ''inuit'' means ''people'' in lnuktitut. "lnuk" means "one person."
Inuit  population in Nunavut speaks English,but all over the territory.Inuit keep their language.


Nunavut's food is very different form most Canadian dishes.
Such as raw seal.Raw seal is a traditional dish.Many families enjoy eating raw seal together.
The gold and blue in Nunavut's flag symbolize the riches of land,sea,and sky.
THe red in the flag is an indication of the territory's ties with Canada.

Because of  it is big size ,so  its weather is polytropic .  January temperature of -35ºC (-31ºF) and a mean July temperature of 10ºC (50ºF). 




 The summers are very mild and cozy. In July, is the warmest month , the summer is cool.  Nunavut's winter is quite dry and cold. So the summer is very precious in Nunavat.

 It is far the largest of any piovince orterritory in Canada.

Baffin and Keewaties islands are now a part of Nunavut.
Baffin lsland is home to Nunavut's capital and many other communities. The island's lanscape's landscape is made up of tundra rivers, and glaciers.
